Being part of a club that strongly supports your local community
The Wangaratta Women’s Auxiliary was founded in May 1918 during World War I and was based on fellowship and a desire to care for our community. This continues to this day.
We are a voluntary organisation, dedicated to raising funds for the welfare of veterans of all wars and conflicts.
Throughout the year the ladies of the auxiliary provide luncheons and afternoon teas on special occasions, including ANZAC Day, Vietnam Veteran’s Day and Remembrance Day.
Eligibility for membership is open to any woman aged 18 years and over. A strong membership base will ensure the future of the auxiliary and enable it to carry on the good work for years to come.
